European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Following Strojsmalt bankruptcy, previously producing electric heating resistance elements and air conditioning, there is a chance to offer new jobs for some 50 employees of the company in a new business unit, which is foreseen to operate in the same site. The 160 fired employees will receive mandatory redundancy pay.
