Description
Magyar Televízió(MTV), the Hungarian Television is a public service broadcaster, financed partly by public resources and by the revenue of its commercial activities. The company is not profitable and carries large debts. MTV announced a cut of 185 employees in May 2005 as a part of a restructuring program. As a consequence of the reorganisation, the company plans further dismissals in the immediate future.
