Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
ICCO group comprises eight companies and have operations in a wide range of industries — from construction and medical equipment to electronic systems and furniture. The largest companies in the group are ICCO Construct, which specialises in civil and industrial engineering, and ICCO Electric, a supplier of electrical solutions to the constructions sector.
ICCO group generated a €50 million turnover in 2004. ‘We expect turnover to grow by at least 10% in 2005 to €55 million', said ICCO's marketing manager. ICCO group currently employs 850 people, though this number could rise to over 1,000 in 2005.
The group was established in 1990 and has its headquarters in Braşov (Centru region), with branch offices in Timişoara (Vest region) and Bucharest (Bucharest region, the capital city).
