European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The foundation of a new pressing plant was announced by Martin Metallverarbeitung following more orders from Volkswagen for its new generations of Golf and Passat. Martin Metallverarbeitung looked at possible locations in Eastern Germany and the new EU-members, but decided to stay in Bavaria, because it was able to buy a factory building from an insolvent company at good conditions.
