Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Kiekert-CS , a limited liability company, was established in 1993 as a subsidiary of a German company Kiekert AG — an important automotive parts producer of locking and latching systems. Kiekert-CS is going to double its present production capacity and to build a new car locks plant in Přelouč with investment of CZK 600 million. The business expansion, profiting from a high quality of labour force in the Czech Republic, will create up to 1,100 new jobs. Currently the company employs 1,300 people. The construction will start in May 2005 and the production is to be launched in the beginning of 2006.
