Isochem announced on 4 February 2005 a 103 job cuts in its Toulouse manufacture. The company is the pharmaceutical subsidiary of SNPE, a chemical group. The direction decided to close one pharmaceutical unit and one of its health products units which means about 50 % of its personnel. In 2003, Isochem had already suppressed two third of its activity. Unions fear the manufacture's closure given that this is the third restructuring since 2002.
