Description

Tiawan's Tatung Co. on 16 March 2005 started producing TV sets with LCD screens in its leased plant in Plzeň and plans to launch production of plasma TVs by the end of 2005. The business investment will reach $5.5 million. The plant currently has 100 employees and intends to hire a total 450 people by the end of 2005 and up to 1,200 people by 2006. Most of production will be exported to European Union countries.
