Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The shipyard Hallberg-Rassy will cut 57 workers at its plant in Orust as a result of an activity slowdown. Magnus Rassy, CEO of the company, stated that the company had been through a very successful period with a full order book and is now returning to level of normal activity. Hallberg-Rassy currently employs 300 people in Orust.
