Description
Aisin Europe Manufacturing Czech, a subsidiary of the Japanese automotive part producer Aisin Seiki, indents to expand its production of oil and water pumps by a new range of products for car industry in its factory situated in Písek. The new project will increase the current staff of 100 by further 300 workers. This plant, founded in November 2002, was the first manufacturing factory of the Japanese company in continental Europe.
On 29 November 2005 the company announced it had launched its second phase of production of aluminium castings for the automotive industry. The expansion of production with investment of €23 million may rise the number of staff to 500 by 2008.
