Description
Siemens plans to increase employment in its research and development centre in Wrocław (Dolnośląskie). Gerhard Barber, Vice-president of Siemens in Poland, informed that Siemens Communications (part of the company responsible for delivery of equipment and services for the telecommunications sector) generates profits. The sale of mobile phones is also profitable in Poland, whereas, on a global scale, it generates losses. The company wants to maintain its second position on the Polish mobile phone market. Siemens also wants to be the second Polish telecommunications provider.
