European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The German Schwan-Stabilo Group is planning to create a further 200 jobs at Schwan Cosmetics CR in Český Krumlov, a Czech subsidiary producing cosmetic pencils. The factory was opened in October 2004 and currently employs more than 200 workers. The overall number of 400-450 jobs are to be relocated by 2008 from Germany to the Czech Republic because of lower production costs.
