Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Molex Slovakia will build its own Research & Development unit and expand its production. After five years of operation, Molex subsidiary in the Kechnec industrial zone became the biggest Molex plant in Europe. New investment is motivated by increasing demands of expanding mobile phone and automotive industry. Molex Slovakia increased its sales volume from 400 million SKK in 2003 to 1.3 billion SKK in 2004. About 55% of total sale is shared by the automotive industry and almost 20% is shared by production of mobile phones.
Company invested 47 million SKK and achieved more than 500 million SKK sales revenue in July-November 2005 period. New investment supported the projects aimed at transfering some production from Portugal.
