Description
French Valeo is the next company, which decided to invest in automotive business expansion in Slovakia. New production unit will manufacture different components and units of car-locking devices. Investment of more than Euro 16 million will be located in industrial zone nearby Košice. The local self-government promised to provide for necessary ground and infrastructure. Full production, which will create additional 500-1000 new jobs at subcontractors, is expected in 2009.
According to fresh information, almost 1,000 employees were working in Valeo Slovakia in hired premises in Košice in October 2006.
