Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Eaton is a global leader in the production of hydraulic systems and the supplying of goods and services related to the equipment used in the automotive and aviation industries. The American company purchased a 10 ha plot in Bielsko-Biała (Śląskie). Eaton has already two factories in Poland, in Tczew and Bielsko-Biała. The launch of the construction works related to the new facility is scheduled for March 2005 and should be concluded by the end of 2006. The facility will employ roughly 375 people, but it will allow creating an additional 1,000 indirect jobs in the whole region.
