Description

Kika, a leading Austrian furniture and home accessories chain, is planning to open two Kika stores in Prague with a total investment of 50 million euros. The first department store is to be built this year and will employ about 230 people. The second one will create a further 200 jobs in 2006. According to experts, the Austrian furniture newcomer will be the biggest in the Czech Republic and enhance competition in the furniture market alongside Ikea and Sconto.
