Description
An extra 100 sales advisers are to be installed in Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest branches as Aviva attempts to boost sales through a joint venture with the Edinburgh-based bank. By taking the number of advisers up to 700, Aviva hopes it can derive more business through the Scottish bank's branches. For the first time the insurer - parent company of Norwich Union - made 50% of its new life and pensions sales from mainland Europe, where it has been growing rapidly both organically and through joint ventures with banking groups.
