Description

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland is to begin the production of automatic gear boxes and engines for Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 107 and Citröen C1. The cars will be produced in Kolin, Czech Republic.

Due to the development of Polish factories, the Toyota management decided, in Autumn 2005, to increase employment. In Wałbrzych, the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Poland (TMMP) will employ a total of 2,000 people, instead of the initial number of 700.

As of February 2007 Toyota has invested 600 million euro and employed 3,000 people.
