The company TRW Automobe is specialised in the manufacture of components for motor vehicles such as airbags and security belts. The Company is based in the town of Quintanaortuño (Province of Burgos, Castilla y León). The Management has decided the closure of the plant and relocation of its activity to Poland and Czech Republic. This announcement implies the creation of 318 redundancies. The job reduction plan has not been yet officially communicated to the regional authorities. The regional official has said the authorities will try to launch a plan for the 318 created redundancies.
