European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
T-Mobile, the mobile phone operator, has recently presented a new saving plan aimed at cutting costs by €1 billion. This decision will also have consequences on Czech employment. Company intends to suppress 2,200 jobs in Europe in 2005, including 150 in the Czech Republic.
