Description

Following the examples of ZDF and ARD, the German regional broadcaster Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR) plans to cut some 100 jobs in order to reduce its costs. The organisation of WDR will be modified and a higher productivity will be requested from the journalists. WDR employs 4,400 people.
