Description
Bayer Crop Science, the plant protection subsidiary of German chemicals and pharmaceuticals group Bayer, has revealed plans to cut around 200 jobs at its production plants in Frankfurt and Monheim and to reduce purchase and services costs. Bayer Crop Science will also reduce investments in research and development activities. The announced restructuring programme is expected to reduce costs by 200 million euros a year from 2007 onwards.
