Description
DSM is to restructure its money-losing anti-infective business, closing capacity in Europe and increasing output in Asia. Weak markets, the decline of the dollar, and strong growth in Asia are cited as reasons for the move. A plant at Delft and a plant at Geelen, will close in 2005. This means about 225 jobs are to be shed in the Netherlands.
