Description

Świt, a protected labour entity (ie one benefiting from tax reductions and other privileges due to the fact that it retains a certain number of disabled employees) employing 400 people, including 260 disabled persons, has announced plans to dismiss 100 members of its work force. Świt manufactures cosmetics and a variety of household cleaning products. The planned downsizing of employment is motivated by the implementation of less favourable tax regulations.
