Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
PZL Świdnik, producer of helicopters and aviation components, is seeking to employ 150 mechanics — operators of traditional and numerically controlled machine tools. The company is facing difficulties with hiring skilled workforce in Lublin (Lubelskie) area, where the factory is situated. The company has already hired 200 professionals earlier this year and 500 technicians in 2004. PZL wants to build 20 new machines for Polish army and border-guard.
