Description
A printing firm in Corby has begun discussions with union representatives over plans to cut jobs. Quebecor World - which is based in Canada - said it planned to reduce its workforce after an important printing contract was not renewed. An Amicus union spokesperson said it had expected job cuts but 300 redundancies was a 'real body blow'. The firm has not confirmed how many jobs will go. The company has begun a 90-day consultation with the union.
