Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
A major restructuring programme is being implemented with the aim of reducing the overall scale and cost of the business to be more in line with current levels of market demand. Demand levels remain weak in Germany. The restructuring will result in the group reducing its depots network from 48 depots to 24, the rental fleet by 1,250 units, and the headcount by 100 employees.
