Following a drop of 34.3% of its net result for the third quarter of 2004, Agfa-Gevaert, manufacturer of analogue and digital products and systems for the making, processing and reproduction of images, has announced drastic measures with the cut of 1,050 jobs throughout the world. This restructuring programme comes as a significant element in the cost-reducing strategy of the group.
