Description

The specialist of electric household appliances Elco Brandt, announced the future relocation of its manufactures towards eastern Europe. Both French sites of Orleans and Vendôme will see their production relocated in Poland. Following this decision, 100 jobs are to be cut off and 300 employees will take part in an early retirement plan. This news follows the recent closure announcement of Lesquin manufacture in the north of France, to be effective by January 2005.
