Description
Wynyard Limited has said that hundreds of jobs are being created at the site of a former Teesside electronics plant which closed earlier this year.
South Korean-based Samsung closed its factory at Wynyard, near Billingham, in April 2004 with the loss of 400 jobs.
The site was purchased by local firm Wynyard Limited, which is developing it as a business park.
Now it has revealed the creation of up to 800 new jobs with the first phase of the site's redevelopment. "These will be real jobs and there has not been any public money involved in attracting these companies here."
