Vallourec, producer of metallic tubes for the car industry, will close its production unit of Laigneville (Oise), inducing the redundancy of its 117 employees. The unions have approved the social plan. It includes the setting up of a reconversion unit, a €16,000 bonus to the employees accepting before 31 October a position in another Vallourec site, and a €30,000 bonus to the ones accepting a ‘reconversion leave' of six months.
