European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
A radical internal restructuring process is going on in the state owned Slovak Power Stations. Management plans to cut the current staff by about 20% before the end of 2005. The internal restructuring is also obviously influenced by the forthcoming privatisation of the company by a foreign investor, which should be selected by the end of 2004.
