European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 18 October 2004, the Italian company Merloni Elettrodomestici has opened a refrigerator factory in Łódź. The plant, turning out Indesit-and-Ariston-brand refrigerators for the European market, will create 900 new jobs.
