Description

The Japanese group Denso has decided to shut down its Polish subsidiary, Denso Manufacturing Polska in Sosnowiec, by the end of march 2005. Production of the electric motors pursued in Sosnowiec will be transferred to Italy. As a result of this move, some 100 people stand to lose their jobs. Denso has indicated that this decision is actuated by the termination of its lease for a production hall in Sosnowiec by the hall's owner, a member of the Fiat group.
