European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Following the burning of part of its production site of Caen, Philips will shed 155 jobs there, out of a total of 1.212. 50 of the former Philips employees are already working for Digital Valley, an SME located on the former Philips site. The SME is expected to hire another 30 ex-Philips employees for a total of 80.
