Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Nestlé Germany is planning to restructure its administration setup. The latest project, named ‘FitNes', will cause 230 jobs to be cut, 160 of them at company headquarters in Frankfurt and 70 in its factories. Several of the new measures have already been implemented. The ‘FitNes' project is expected to be concluded by the end of 2005.
