European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Postal and logistics firm TPG (TP) said it will merge three units into one, cutting 700 to 800 jobs, to offset the effects of declining mail volume, a tariff freeze and the sluggish economy. The company said the move - to merge its sorting, distribution and transport units - won't have an impact on TPG's Mail margin outlook for the full year.
