The German subsidiary of Colt Telecom, based in Frankfurt, will shift these jobs to New Delhi. Colt has also decided to lay off 100 workers by the end of this year to trim spiralling expenses. A large part of the retrenched workers will move to associate companies and will have an opportunity to undergo retraining.
