Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Following, in July 2004, the announcement by the courts of the bankruptcy of Pomorski Przemysł Mięsny Agros Koszalin, with a liquidation option, the culling and meat production facility is set to dismiss 160 employees. Apart from mounting debts, factors contributing to the entity's bankruptcy included the necessity of implementing the European Union's HACCP system for identifying and managing risks which may arise in the course of foodstuffs production and storage.
