Emgo, producer of lighting equipment, declared on 11 June 2004 a restructuring plan affecting 210 people within the next two years. This is due to the introduction of Chinese and East-European competitors. Management and unions have set up an agenda for the negotiations. On 15 November 2004, an agreement has been reached between management and employees for the suppression of 60 jobs. AT that date, the company still employed 508.
