Description
In the course of a comprehensive restructuring programme aimed at an overall cost reduction by about 20%, the worldwide luxury fashion company (specialised in sales of exquisite brand-name designer fashion) plans to set up a new logistic centre in Upper Austria. According to the management, the most decisive criterion for choosing the new site has been Austria's relative flexible working hour regulations in comparison with Germany, where the company's headquarters are based. By investing about 20 million euros for building up the new logistic centre, between 100 and 120 jobs are planned to be created in fall 2004 onwards.
