Description

Sony extended the production of TV components in its subsidiary in Trnava in May 2004. The production was relocated from the Sony plant in Barcelona. 221 new jobs will be created in the Trnava unit, which plays an important role in Sony’s TV production business strategy for Central and Eastern Europe. Almost 95% of its 2003 production volume was exported. Some TV components are manufactured in Sony plants in the EU, USA and China.
