European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Danish furniture producer Divani will build up a new production unit in Poltár. The region is hit by an unemployment rate of more than 27%. 120 employees could get job in the new production unit by the end of 2004. Later on, it is planned to increase the number of employees to 240. The company intends to export more than 90% of the new unit's production to the Benelux and Scandinavian countries.
