Description
Toyota, the Japanese carmaker, said it would invest £ 50 million at its Burnaston plant near Derby. This will create a further 500 jobs taking the total workforce to 4,600. The investment will increase the plant's capacity to build the Avensis and Corolla models, taking the total production numbers from 220,000 to 285,000 a year.
