European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The German group Epcos announced the closure of its Lormont unit specialised in the manufacture of electrical equipments. The unit will be relocated in Czeck republic where the costs are lower. The measure will be effective in early 2004 affecting 90 workers out of 115. At mid-2005, the rest will be dismissed.
