Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Euromaint will cut 330 jobs in the frame of a plan drawn to solve the overcapacity problems of the company. According to the CEO of Euromaint, the company is suffering the effects of the uncertainty of the economic agents and needs to adapt to the situation of the market. Euromaint has decided not to change its business orientations and will keep on focusing on its core business, but will change its organisational scheme through concentrating its activities and closing down some of its plants.
