Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On the 12th of June, the Italian Ministry of Employement has approved the long-term mobility plan concerning 181 workers of Teksid's establishment of Crescentino.
Teksid is involved on the manufacture of basic iron and steel and of ferro-alloys
business. During the last months, Teskid has recorded a decrease of 30% of its production.
The direction had announced the dismissal of 389 workers but the accord signed by the trade union concerned the reducion of 181 jobs.
The mobility plan will be completed before 2004.
