Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
After the closure of the Cadarache unit, Cogema, subsidiary of Areva, announced the closure of the Mox (Provence - Alpes - Côte d'Azur) unit affecting 306 workers. 166 workers should keep on working at the unit untill 2012 for the waste management. More than 40 workers will be transfered at the Melox unit, 20 will go into early retirment measures and 50 end of contract and the rest will be transfered to either Pierrelatte and la Hague units.
