Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Framatome Connectors International (FCI) Besançon, subsidiary of Areva, announced a restructuring plan affecting around 130 jobs due to the lack of profitability of the unit. By July 2004, manpower of the unit should fall around 350 workers. Accompaniement measures are currently under negociation between management and trade unions.
