Description
One hundred jobs are to be created in an investment by US company Allied Computer Services (ACS). The firm is to open an outsourcing and support centre in Mahon on the outskirts of Cork city, supporting European markets. Recruitment of key staff, including systems engineers and administrators, is under way and the operation is expected to be functioning fully within three years.
A leading player in the emerging business process outsourcing sector, ACS client include MetLife, Motorola and General Motors.
