Description
The American group Kraft Foods, world number 2 in the food industry, announced a worldwide restructuring plan over the next three years. This programme involves the closure or selling of 20 manufacturing sites and a reduction of its workforce by 6%, i.e. 6,000 people. In a first step, only 3 production sites will be closed, 2 in the United States, 1 in Central Europe. The other closures and redundancies will take place in the next 3 years.
